The wide variety of disciplines offers a unique opportunity to meet people from different backgrounds and different programs. The comprehensive campus gives a good feeling of university life . outstanding teaching staff in computer science was a great differentiator. Having a number of different schools/colleges makes non-Computer Science electives very interesting. some of the electives that I took sparked an interest in those subjects that continues till today. problem solving was a recurring theme throughout the university years, which is such an important skill later in life . The Internship program was an excellent way to get a glimpse of professional life. First and foremost, enjoy your time. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and you should make the most out of it. Go beyond the syllabus and try to expand your horizons. For example, programming competitions, were one of the best learning exercises that I did during my time at the University of Sharjah. Finally, make many friends as it gets harder to make friends later in life.

He is currently serving as the graduate program coordinator at the college. He completed his BSc in computer Science from the university of Sharjah 2004 . At the University of Sharjah, I had the opportunity to be taught by a group of highly qualified faculty, which motivated me to go the extra mile . The program was desined to ensure that gradutes had a solid programming skills in many languages. Students were always encouraged to join competitions to flurther this skills sets. Those aspects constitute the competitive edge the computer science program at the University of Sharjah has over other programs. I advise current students at the University to make the most of it by joining clubs, competitions and acquiring as much skills as they can.

I was lucky to be a part of the computer science department. Majoring in IT-Multimedia allowed me to fully utilize the left(analytical) and the right(creative) parts of my brain, and powered me with needed knowledge for my career life. Being involved in the computer science society activities opened many doors to me. I proudly call the Department of Computer Science Home.

I have always had a fascination with Computers and Computer Science was the natural choice for Amar_Hamzeh.jpgme. Throughout my study at the University of Sharjah Computer Science Department, I learned many skills and concepts that later proved to be essential in my career. Following my graduation. I pursued a career in Telecommunications. I currently work at Oracle in the Professional Services Delivery team. I would recommend the B. Sc. In Computer Science for anyone who is looking for a solid foundation in computing concepts, which makes learning new technologies easier later in their career.

For me, there really isn't a question here. I have had a mystical attraction to computers ever since I was a child. I never really chose computer science, it chose me. The most important aspect I liked from studying computer science at UOS is the problem solving, the essential skill for life. Because computers solve problems, to serve people, there is a significant human side of computer science as well. I really recommend computer science at UOS to people to study it.
