CCI Open Day – High School Events

The CCI open day featured multiple booths related to various aspects of computing and informatics. These booths provided students with opportunities to learn more about different areas of interest within the field.


One of the booths was focused on New Trends and Metaverse, which showcased the latest advancements in technology, including mixed reality. The Huawei booth provided information about the company and its products, as well as opportunities for high school students to learn more about careers in the technology industry.


Another booth was dedicated to the Google Development Student Club (GDSC), which provided information on the various projects and initiatives that the club is involved in. The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) student clubs also had their booths, where they highlighted their respective activities and provided information on how to get involved. The Computer Assembly booth provided participants with hands-on experience in assembling a computer from scratch.


The CCI booth showcased the various programs and courses available at the college, while the research booth provided information on ongoing research projects and initiatives. The admission Booth provided details on how to apply to the college, while the senior projects booth displayed some of the projects completed by senior students.


The event also featured two competitions: a programming competition sponsored by Huawei and a robotics competition sponsored by VEX. The event was aimed at introducing high school students to the world of computer science and technology and encouraging them to pursue careers in these fields.
