​Prof. Abbes Amira, Dean of the College of Computing and Informatics has welcomed a team from the United Kingdom, Prof. Fahad Rizvi, Chair Willows Academy (NHS West Leicestershire CCG), and Dr. Tariq SA Kapasi, Medical Director, Willows Health, Honorary Associate Professor of Primary Care and General Practice. The team presented their ongoing activities, what they do, their strengths, and their associated partners including NHS in the UK. 

Following that, there was an open discussion towards building further opportunities of collaboration and development activities. A tentative plan has also been discussed, including:

• A general discussion of future research and development (R&D) collaborations in medical and bioinformatics, autonomic systems, and other medical and computer sciences topics.
• Possible joint projects and research supervision.
• Facilitation of possible final year student's international placement, and capacity building.
