The Dean emphasized the diverse expertise of the faculty in the College with a range of domain expertise and research interests that open doors for students to learn from and engage in interdisciplinary activities.

The Dean reminded the audience of the core strategic value of the CCI not just for our students in the College but for being a hub of research for all other Colleges in the University, encouraging faculty and students to reach out and collaborate with others to help lead the way.

In this regard, the Dean offered glimpses of success for our alumni and the elite companies they work for, in addition to several MoU drafted with strategic industry partners.

The talk was followed by short presentations by the department chairs welcoming the students and giving an overview for their programs, encouraging students to build a close relationship with their academic advisors to mentor them to success, for which Dr. Samar from BIS department presented some key factors to ensure an optimal discourse for student progress.

Furthermore, CCI Sr. student's presentation covered several clubs and associations that are led by students. The new students have been invited and encouraged to join the CCI associations and clubs.
