Several local news outlets have covered and recognised the distinguished achievement of three students' projects in university of Sharjah including the CCI. Alwatan newspaper:

These projects that was accomplished by Walid Hariri of Al-Husson School who won the 1st place for "time travel", and the 2nd place was won by students Shawk al-Shehhi, Shaimaa Mohammed Shafia and Aisha Al-Naqi of the University of Sharjah for research "a hybrid solar desalination plant" under the Supervision of Dr. Mohammed Tawalbeh, College of Engineering, and student Saadia Liaqat of the University of Sharjah awarded the 3rd place for the research. "A new technique for visualizing fingerprints using spices", and in the 4th place was awarded to the students Hozayfa Rifai and Maryam Orabi of the University of Sharjah for their research "Diagnosis of Covid-19 disease through CT images" working within the Machine Learning and AI group Supervised by Prof. Ashraf Elnagar, College of Computing and Informatics, and the students Yasmine Hussam and Da'a Rafiq from the School of al-Shulah for the research "The alternative energy and the development of waste conversion."
