The Office of Strategic Planning is a
vital component for developing, monitoring and coordinating the strategic goals
of the University. The transformational change, and implementation of the
strategic initiatives, which will support change will be supported and
monitored through the Office of Strategic Planning, in addition the office will
coordinate, support and monitor performance management scorecards, which align
individual actions to strategic objectives.
The University of Sharjah Strategy for
2019 – 2024 development was facilitated and coordinated through the Office of
Strategic Planning. Strategic Champions were appointed from senior
administration to develop, facilitate, coordinate and champion the Strategic
Goals. Strategic workshops were held at all colleges and directorates
throughout the University with the aim to provide an overview of the strategic
themes and in turn developing actionable strategic objectives and initiatives. A significant number of initiatives were
submitted to the Office of Strategic Planning, from all colleges and
directorates. Each initiative was rationalized, prioritized and reviewed. These
priority initiatives form the core of the University of Sharjah Strategy for
2019 – 2024. The progress of the strategy will be measured through key
milestones identified within the strategy and coordinated through the Office of
Strategic Planning.
