The University of Sharjah, a comprehensive institution of higher education, offers a distinctive learning style and a global vision. Our University offers more than 108 academic programs through 14 different colleges. All programs are accredited by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and many programs are accredited by international agencies such as the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) and the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications (ACEJMC). All programs have been designed, and are continuously updated, to provide factual, conceptual, procedural and metacognitive knowledge. The learning objectives and the expected outcomes of our courses have been carefully developed to improve skills in application, analysis, synthesis, evaluation and innovation.

The University of Sharjah functions in a multidisciplinary environment and encourages diversity. Over 15,000 students enrolled in our various colleges represent more than 100 nationalities, while 636 faculty members come from more than 90 different countries. This dynamic team of faculty members is committed to delivering excellence in the domains of teaching, research, publishing and practice.
