Provisions And Guideline
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a UAE National (with family book), or a child of an Emirati mother holding UAE nationality from Sharjah.
- Must be currently enrolled at the University of Sharjah and not in the final semester.
- Must have completed at least one full academic year at University of Sharjah. or with a minimum of 30 credit hours (or equivalent).
- Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (Very Good) or higher.
- Must enroll as a full-time student at the international university, with a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester (or equivalent).
- Must provide an unconditional admission offer from an international university approved by the Ministry of Higher Education, in one of the approved countries and ranked institutions listed by the Ministry.List of Approved Universities and Majors for Scholarships
Provisions and Guidelines
- Students may participate in one semester of study abroad.
- Students must enroll only in pre-approved courses. Credits for non-approved courses are not guaranteed.
- Students must study the same academic major and degree as registered at University of Sharjah.
- Students must complete the final academic semester at University of Sharjah.
- The Ministry of Education’s approved list of universities, programs, and countries is updated annually.
Academic Requirements for Credit Transfer
- Students must achieve the minimum required grade (or equivalent) in each approved course for credits to be transferred back to their degree program:
- Undergraduate Programs: Minimum grade C+ (2.5/4.0)
- Master’s and Doctorate Programs: Minimum grade B (3.0/4.0)
