The Advanced Hernia Workshop offers an intensive, hands-on experience in open and laparoscopic hernia repair and abdominal wall reconstruction. Participants will practice advanced techniques such as Rives-Stoppa, TAR, TEP, TAPP, IPOM, and ETEP through cadaveric demonstrations and simulated dry-lab training. The program includes live animal lab sessions guided by expert surgeons to enhance technical precision and decision-making. Ideal for surgeons and residents aiming to master complex hernia procedures and refine their operative skills.

The training was designed for Residents, Registrar, Junior Surgeons, who were interested in pursuing a career in colorectal surgery and who were just starting out with laparoscopic procedures. The curriculum included lectures and video lectures, practical exercises
in operational skills in the Dry lab and practical activities in the Lab Animals

Participants will gain hands-on experience in using EMG biofeedback and diagnostic ultrasound to assess and treat complex pelvic floor dysfunctions. The course emphasizes evidence-based rehabilitation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the integration of medical, surgical, and physiotherapeutic approaches for optimal patient outcomes. Ideal for urologists, urogynecologists, and women’s health physiotherapists, this workshop bridges technology and teamwork to advance the future of pelvic health care.

The course will introduce the fundamental principles of sonography, including terminology and equipment. It will provide an in-depth study of the clinical applications of Abdominal Sonography, covering positioning, scanning protocols, and pathology-specific clinical symptomatology as they relate to the sonographic appearance of various structures.
Participants will learn to interpret and critique both normal and abnormal anatomy, with emphasis on correlating clinical, didactic, and imaging information. The lectures will also highlight how to collect relevant patient information for different ultrasound studies and how to accurately correlate this information with the sonographic findings.

Minimally Invasive Surgery have become an integral part of operative management in virtually every realm of newborn and pediatric surgery in the last two decades. Although new Instruments and equipment’s are promoting these achievements, there is still a long journey in training before Neonatal Endoscopic surgery become safe and widespread.
The UAE Pediatric Surgery Society, Gulf endoscopic pediatric surgery & urology group in collaboration with Clinical and surgical training center is dedicated to the advancement of training in Pediatric Minimal Invasive Surgery to ensure the safe performance of such operation.

This Two-days course covers the most recent developments and cutting-edge techniques in foot and ankle conditions. They include common injuries, adult flat foot, Hallux valgus and joint arthritis. With just a few systematic and keynote lectures
to spark discussions, the course is highly interactive, involving participants in case-based presentations. The focus of the course is on practical exercises on anatomical specimens where the participants will perform core surgical approaches and procedures

Learn basic and intermediate shoulder procedures in a small group setting with this comprehensive surgical skills course. With assistance from an experienced faculty, the course agenda includes 3 full days of cadaver lab focused on must-know shoulder procedures, such as labral repairs, instability, rotator cuff repairs, and more. Treatment controversies will also be emphasized to help guide decision-making tactics.

The Nurse Development Program for Surgical Nurses is a focused skills-enhancement course designed to strengthen both technical and non-technical skills required in the operating room. The program combines evidence-based communication training with hands-on surgical simulation to prepare nurses for real OT challenges.
Participants will engage in interactive sessions on OR organization, active listening, communication, conflict resolution, and teamwork, followed by supervised practical training in open surgical suturing and laparoscopic instrument handling with box-trainer tissue suturing.

The primary objective of this program is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the intricate decision-making process involved in selecting the most appropriate surgical approach for complex knee disorders. This involves imparting specialized knowledge and honing the motor skills of young orthopedic surgeons, enabling them to become proficient in setting up basic arthroscopy equipment. Our training curriculum further extends to equipping surgeons with the necessary skills to perform fundamental knee arthroscopy procedures, such as loose body removal, addressing meniscal tears, and synovectomy, among others. In addition, we delve into the principles of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction, covering both the hamstring and bone-patellar tendon-bone techniques. This multifaceted program also focuses on training surgeons to execute arthroscopic ACL reconstruction effectively, providing them with the expertise needed for advanced surgical interventions in the field of orthopedics.
