IAESTE Application Process
IAESTE 2027will be open from 7th December 2026 onwards. The orientation shall be on MsTeams (tentatively on 20th January 2027)
Stage 1: Online Registration
- Action: Fill out the online registration form accurately.
- Crucial Rule: You must use your university email ID for all correspondence.
- Next Step: Watch for a confirmation email (and check your spam/junk folder just in case).
Stage 2: Submission of Documents
- The Ticket: You will receive a Unique Code via email within 2–3 working days of registering.
- Upload: Use this Unique Code to log in and gradually build your profile by uploading high-quality documents.
- The Catch: You must meet all eligibility criteria perfectly. Missing criteria means instant exclusion. Format templates are provided during this stage.
Stage 3: Offers & Nomination
Once your profile is ready, use your Unique Code to upload your Cover Letter and Nomination Form to apply for open positions.
There are two types of internships available:
- Exchange Internships (Exclusive): Reserved only for IAESTE UAE students. These go live in early February (right after the annual late-January conference).
- Global Internship Offers (Global): Open to applicants worldwide.
Note: If an offer is marked "Closed," it means a nominee was already chosen or the deadline passed.
💳 The Golden Rule: 1 Offer = 1 Nomination
IAESTE operates on a strict first-come, first-served matching system. One offer gets exactly one nominee. As soon as a perfect match is found, that offer closes permanently.
If you are selected as the nominee, you must act fast:
- Fee: AED 315.00 (including VAT).
- Deadline: Within 24 hours of receiving the email payment link.
- Penalty: Missing the 24-hour window means the opportunity is immediately given to someone else.
How Candidates Are Evaluated
When deciding who gets nominated, IAESTE UAE evaluates you based on these key pillars:
• Academics & Skills: Your CGPA, Resume, and Language proficiency.
• Application Quality: A compelling Cover Letter and fully completed, high-quality documents.
• Intangibles: Your personality, commitment level, and whether you are a first-time applicant (which is a plus!).
• Logistics: Your nationality (strictly for visa feasibility in the host country).
