Welcome to Sharjah Space and Astronomy Hub. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our services, attendance at events, and participation in educational programs offered by the Hub, both in-person and online. By purchasing tickets or enrolling in any program, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. General

• Each ticket or enrollment admits one person only and is valid for the specific event, date, and location indicated.
• The Hub reserves the right to modify, postpone, reschedule, or cancel any event or program without prior notice, for any reason including safety or operational needs.
• Any changes will be communicated through authorized channels as soon as practicable.

2. Purchases and Ticketing

• Tickets and program enrollments must be purchased or booked through official Hub channels only, including the official website, authorized ticket counters, or approved partners.
• A valid receipt or booking confirmation must be presented at entry or commencement of any program.
• Tickets or enrollment confirmations are non-transferable unless explicitly authorized by the Hub in writing.
• Resale or commercial use of tickets/enrollments without prior permission is strictly prohibited.

3. Entry, Access, and Eligibility

• Entry or participation is only permitted with valid proof of purchase or enrollment.
• The Hub reserves the right to refuse admission or participation to anyone for valid reasons including but not limited to safety concerns, failure to comply with the Code of Conduct, or disruption of activities.

4. Refunds, Cancellations, and Rescheduling

• Tickets and program fees are non-refundable and non-exchangeable except in the event of cancellation by the Hub.
• In cases of event or program cancellation by the Hub, refunds will be processed via the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.
• Postponed or rescheduled events/programs will honor existing tickets/enrollments, but refunds will not be automatically granted.
• Customers are responsible for attending at the scheduled times; no refunds or compensations will be given for missed sessions, late arrivals, or no-shows.

5. Code of Conduct and Safety

• All participants, staff, and visitors must comply with Hub rules, instructions by staff, and safety protocols at all times.
• The Hub reserves the right to remove any person whose behavior disrupts activities or poses safety risks.
• Personal belongings are the sole responsibility of the ticket holder or participant. The Hub disclaims liability for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

6. Intellectual Property

• All course content, materials, branding, and proprietary information provided by the Hub remain the exclusive intellectual property of [Your Science Hub Name].
• Participants are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use materials for personal educational purposes only.

7. Liability and Indemnity

• The Hub shall not be liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property unless caused by proven negligence of the Hub.
• Participants engage in all activities at their own risk and must follow safety instructions carefully.
• By participating, attendees agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Hub, its employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from their actions.

8. Digital Services and Online Participation

• Online workshops, courses, and digital content are provided without warranties of any kind.
• The Hub is not responsible for technical issues beyond its control, including internet connectivity or device malfunctions.
• Participants must use digital content in accordance with the Hub’s policies and copyright laws.

9. Data Protection and Privacy

• The Hub collects personal data necessary for registration, ticketing, and communication purposes.
• Personal information will be processed in accordance with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and other applicable regulations.
• Data will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law.
• By participating, you consent to the collection, use, and storage of your data as outlined in the Hub’s Privacy Policy.

10. Photography and Video Consent

• By attending Hub events or programs, participants consent to be photographed or recorded for promotional, educational, or archival purposes.
• If you do not consent to photography or recording, please notify the Hub in writing prior to participation.

11. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

• Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or participation in Hub services shall be resolved amicably through negotiation.
• If unresolved, disputes shall be referred to mediation or arbitration in accordance with UAE law.
• These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the UAE courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

12. Modification of Terms

• The Hub reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
• Updated Terms will be posted on the official website and will apply from the date of publication.
• Continued use of services after changes constitute acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Acceptance of Terms

• By purchasing tickets or enrolling in Hub programs, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
