The University of Sharjah held a virtual scientific seminar entitled “Innovation and
Invention in the Fields of Humanities, Social Sciences and Business Administration”
organized by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate Studies,
in cooperation with the GCC Patent Office of the Secretariat General of the Arab
GCC.
The seminar addressed several topics including the definition of intellectual
property, the difference between innovation and invention, the factors that help
transform innovations into successful pioneering projects and much more.
