Visiting researchers are faculty members who are hired by the University of Sharjah for a certain period of time (usually one or two study terms) to teach and conduct research works in collaboration with faculty and graduate students. Visiting researchers are eligible to research grants and are encouraged to join active research groups. They also have access to all university resources, including labs, libraries and other research facilities.
Visiting researchers are strongly advised to contact the Research Funding Department and the office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate Studies for information regarding grants, research groups and any other research-related matters.
