The student must meet the English language proficiency (TOEFL) requirement, as follows:
1. Students in programs taught in English: a score of 550 in TOEFL (ITP) (or its equivalence), or 6 in IELTS, or 1400 in an EmSAT English exam must be obtained
2. Students in programs taught in Arabic (PhD in Private Law, Public Law, and Applied Sociology, A score of 1100 in EmSAT exam, 500 in TOEFL (ITP) (or its equivalence), or 5.0 in IELTS must be obtained. For other Arabic prgorams, A score of 950 in EmSAT exam, 450 in TOEFL (ITP) (or its equivalence), or 4.5 in IELTS must be obtained.
For programs that requires a specific TOEFL score, the instructions provided by the Commission for Academic Accreditation shall be followed
Exemption:
1. Students whose native language is English and studied a bachelor's or a master's program in a country where English is the official language shall be exempted from the English language proficiency requirement.
2. Students who graduated from a university in which English is the language of instruction are also exempted from the English language proficiency requirement provided that they have obtained a minimum score of 1400 in an EmSAT English exam, 500 in TOEFL (ITP) (or its equivalence), or equivalent upon enrolling in the bachelor program and 550 points or equivalent upon joining the master's program
