The health promotion research group was founded to improve the public's health through patient-oriented and population-based research aimed at prevention of disease, promotion of health, well-being, and quality of life of the nation. Collaborations with national and international organizations are emphasized to ensure that the findings of the research are relevant to, and applied in public health policy.
