Project 1: Emerging Contaminants Affecting Wastewater Reuse in the Emirate of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates
The overall long-term technical objective of research on Emerging Contaminants of Concern (ECCs) in wastewaters reused for irrigation is to assess the risk posed on human health and the environment. This project represents an initial step towards achieving the long-term objective through confirming the presence of ECCs in the wastewater generated in Sharjah.
