Coinciding with International Women's Day

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah, the University of Sharjah is proud to announce the 6th Forum for Women in Research (WIRF2027), organized by the Women in Research Office (WIRO) under the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate Studies.

Building on the remarkable success of the previous five editions, the Forum continues to serve as a leading international platform that empowers women in research, celebrates scientific excellence, and fosters collaboration across academia, industry, government, and society. Bringing together researchers, innovators, students, policymakers, and strategic partners from around the world, the Forum provides opportunities to exchange knowledge, showcase groundbreaking research, establish meaningful collaborations, and inspire innovative solutions to global challenges.

The 6th Forum will be held at the University of Sharjah and the University of Khorfakkan, coinciding with International Women's Day. This edition will continue the Forum's mission of advancing women in research and innovation while creating new opportunities for dialogue, partnership, and scientific impact on both regional and global levels.
