UoS iBecome

UOS iBecome is a creative new mobile app provided by the University of Sharjah especially for high school students to help them choose a field of study that suits their characteristics and personality by answering 40 questions. These questions were carefully crafted by psychology professors and education advisors to analyze the interests and skills of students and map those to one or more specific education fields.

The application provides the prospective students the opportunity to search for the majors offered by the University of Sharjah in an easy manner. With Blackboard Collaborate Mobile, participants can:

  • Communicate with moderators and other participants via two-way video, audio and text chat

  • Respond to yes/no and multiple-choice polling questions
  • Raise their virtual hand for questions or comments
  • Use emotions to indicate laughter, confusion, or approval
