MEDICAL INSTITUTES & CENTERS
Institutes, centers, and research laboratories provide a forum for cross-disciplinary collaboration to maximize the capacity of the University to address complex scientific, social, and economic challenges, conduct research, provide educational services and serve the needs of Sharjah, the UAE, and the region.
They bring to the forefront the collective expertise of the University in research and professional services and provide opportunities for faculty and students to engage with the community-at-large. The entities known as “institutes, centers and laboratories” are referred to as “special units” to distinguish them from other academic and administrative units within the University.
