The Exhibition was in the presence of the University Vice Chancellors, many representatives of government and private departments and bodies and institutions in the UAE, College Deans, Departments' Heads and Directors, faculty members and college students. The Exhibition was held using video communication technology.

The Chancellor of the University delivered the opening speech of the ceremony by expressing his thanks, respect and gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah, and the President of the University of Sharjah. He also prayed for the safety of the community against the COVID-19 pandemic that necessitated holding this Exhibition via video communication technology, which takes away from the collective joy of celebrating together the scientific and academic accomplishments of the students.

He added that the College of Communication organizing this Exhibition under the slogan:" Sultan … Half a Century of Giving and Building " is an attempt to observe aspects of the major global achievements that have been made thanks to the wise civilized and modern leadership of the Emirate of Sharjah by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi Member of the Supreme Council and President of the University, which is close to fifty years. This attempt will not be able to highlight all of His Highness' major global achievements, even if only limited to His Highness' achievements at the University of Sharjah, which thanks to his wise leadership and good guidance, was able not only to reach the world, but also many universities and international educational institutions internationally and cooperate with them in various educational, knowledge exchange, and scientific forms. Not only this, but the University of Sharjah managed, thanks to these wise and expert directives, to achieve the first positions at the national, regional, and global levels in many areas as recognized by the specialized international institutions.

His Excellency the Chancellor ended his speech by extending thanks and appreciation to the Acting Dean of the College of Communication Prof. Essam Nasr, as well as the Departments' Heads and faculty members and technical staff for what they did to highlight the students' work and their graduation projects.

During the ceremony, a documentary film was presented showing the aspects of the achievements of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah over a period of fifty years under the title: " Sultan … Half a Century of Giving and Building ". The film presented His Highness's role in building and developing the Emirate of Sharjah over half a century, especially in consolidating its position as the capital of Arab and Islamic culture, and the world book and tourism capital. Sharjah soon became a smiling emirate pioneering in entrenching the values  that contribute to advancing the human being. Following that a photo tour was held for graduation projects, where the attendees witnessed a group of visual presentations on the projects of the Public Relations Department, the Mass Communication Department's Radio and Television program, the Mass Communication Department's English and Graphic Design and Multimedia programs, in addition to various presentations for students' projects.

The Exhibition for this semester included more than 70 graduation projects that were completed by 124 students in the various departments and specializations of the College. These projects expressed the views of students and reflected the knowledge and skills they acquired during their studies in the College.

Spark11 was organized and prepared by a distinguished group of faculty, administrative and technical staff members of the College in cooperation with all University departments.
