The Ruler of Sharjah Attends the UoS’ Male Students’ Graduation

His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah, and President of the University of Sharjah, assured that the University unceasingly works on qualifying its students following a comprehensive curriculum delivered by specialized scientists and faculty members who consistently work on developing their skills and strengthening its prominent position nationally, regionally, and internationally. This contributed to accomplishing its goals and enabled it to sign a number of cooperation agreements with prestigious universities and research centers.

This came in His Highness' congratulatory word during the University of Sharjah's male students' graduation ceremony totaling 280 graduates from the Bachelor's and Diploma levels and from various programs, and in the attendance of H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Sharjah; and H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah.

The Ruler of Sharjah added that this pursuit of equipping graduates with the best qualifications and skills drove the aim of meeting all of their needs at the University through developing comprehensive education and scientific research curriculums. His Highness then directed a number of advice to the graduates to trust in God and their skills and academic qualifications, which will enable them to cause positive changes by adopting creativity and innovation in their personal and professional lives.

During his word on the occasion, Prof. Hamid M.K. Al Naimiy, Chancellor of the University of Sharjah, congratulated His Highness and extended his gratitude for H.H. attending the Graduation Ceremony. The Chancellor then mentioned that the University works to provide all scientific necessities that contribute to honing the knowledge and skills of students and their applications using a number of advanced laboratories, lecture halls, and advanced academic environments that add to the enriching student academic experience. This in collaboration with a number of universities and scientific research institutions.

Graduating student Ali Al Alili from the College of Engineering gave the graduates address during which he thanked His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah for his unceasing support for all knowledge and academic efforts. He also commended the efforts of the University's faculty and staff members during their journey.

His Highness Khalid bin Abdullah Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Seaports and Customs, attended the Graduation Ceremony along with Sheikh Salem bin Abdulrahman Al Qasimi, Director of the office of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah; Sheikh Mohammed bin Humaid Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Statistics and Community Development; H.E. Rashid Ahmad bin Sheikh, Chairman of the Ruler's Court; Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of the Sharjah Police; H.E. Mohammed Obaid Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Protocol, Transport & Traffic Department; as well as a number of Sharjah Government entities Directors, Members of the Board of Trustees, and faculty and staff members.
