The University of Sharjah in collaboration with Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry are pleased to announce the opening of 5th cycle of the Sharjah Chamber Award for Innovators.
The award is open for all the University students in the UAE in addition to selective countries from the region and the high school students in the UAE only (Grades 10,11,12 both the public and private schools). The award is open to all nationalities in the UAE.
The award has two categories “Research and Projects” and the prizes worth 100,000 AED divided to 8 winning groups as below:
Research Category
1st Winner: 20,000 AED
2nd Winner: 15,000 AED
3rd Winner: 10,000 AED
4th Winner: 5,000 AED
Project Category
1st Winner: 20,000 AED
2nd Winner: 15,000 AED
3rd Winner: 10,000 AED
4th Winner: 5,000 AED
Areas of participation:
We are not limiting the participations to any field, students can participate with automating/improving traditional approaches, artificial intelligence projects, big data, connectors, electrical extensions, instruments that measures level of concentrations, energy storage, telescopes, space exploring research, etc.
Students are not allowed to participate with projects/research ideas that they participated with previously in any competition.
The winners of the Sharjah Chamber Award for Innovators will be announced in the 6th International Forum on Innovation and Entrepreneurship in February in the Innovation Month in the Emirate of Sharjah. And all the shortlisted students will be given the chance to exhibit their ideas. Entrepreneurs and VIPs from the community will be invited to attend the Forum and will go through the students projects, this is in case the forum takes place on campus, but in case we were instructed to have it virtually, things will be changed and announced to all participants.
