The UAE Math Day was initiated and first held in 2003 at the University of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. The idea was first proposed with the aim of providing a scientific forum where mathematicians from educational and research institutions in the UAE and GCC countries come together to discuss the latest research advances in the area of mathematics and its wide applications. The UAE Math Day provides a friendly environment where colleagues from these institutions can meet, exchange ideas and establish networks for collaboration in common areas of interest.
The UAE Math Day is held annually, on rotation-base, in different institutions in the UAE. The table below presents a list of the past meetings.
