The University of Sharjah Kalba Branch Organizes a Scientific Seminar on the Role of Law in Attracting and Encouraging Investment

 The University of Sharjah’s Kalba Branch College of Law organized a scientific seminar titled “The Role of Law in Attracting and Encouraging Investment.” Dr. Fatima Yousif Al Marashda, Vice Assistant Chancellor of Academic Affairs – Kalba Branch, attended the Seminar along with Dr. Ali Obaid Al-Zaabi, Vice Assistant Chacncellor of Financial and Administrative Affairs – Khorfakkan Branch, as well as a large number of faculty and staff members and students. 

The Seminar was held over two sessions and included a number of different themes. Dr. Osama Al-Roubi, Academic Coordinator of the Faculty of Law at the branches of Khorfakkan and Kalba, moderated the first session where Dr. Mustafa Al-Nujaifi participated in the workshop on "The Role of Management in Granting Foreign Direct Investment License;" Dr. Nada Zuhair Al- Fil participated in a paper on "The Problem of Dumping and its Impact on Investment in the Industrial Field;" and Dr. Mohamed Nourelddin Sayed also participated with a working paper on "Criminal Protection of Information Regarding the Foreign Investment Project in UAE Law."

The second session moderated by Dr. Noman Atallah, Professor of Public International Law at the College, featured Dr. Ayman Mohamed Zain who participated with a paper entitled "Guarantees and Challenges for Real Estate Investment," and Dr. Mohamed Morsi who participated with a paper entitled "The Role of the UAE's New Bankruptcy Law in Investment Promotion."
