The Office of International Relations is the strategic platform for coordinating the efforts of the units, offices and colleges at the University of Sharjah in establishing and advancing international collaborations and partnerships with partner universities and institutions worldwide. OIR will help UoS faculty and staff prepare agreements and manage approvals for international collaborations that are pertinent to the internationalization of their research and personal development.
OIR will support the colleges and departments in identifying and engaging in joint and dual academic programs at graduate and undergraduate level with partner universities in response to the emerging internationalization of academic programs. OIR will also forge strategic research partnerships to promote the globalization of our research institutes and research centers by connecting UoS researchers with their peers from our global network of alliances.
OIR will also facilitate and create opportunities for international exchange and mobility of students, faculty, and staff.
