The University of Sharjah signs a cooperation agreement with Princess Sumaya
University for Technology in Jordan aiming to establish a cooperation framework
in areas of scientific research, graduate programs, and exchange of scientific
and academic materials.
His Excellency Prof. Hamid M.K. Al Naimiy, Chancellor of the University, signed the agreement along with Prof. Mashhoor Al-Refai, President of Princess Sumaya University for Technology. Prof. Maamar Bettayeb, Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate Studies, attended the signing along with Dr. Salah Taher, Vice Chancellor for Community Affairs; Dr. Tarek Merabtene, Director of the Office of International Relations; and Prof. Abdelaziz Soufyane, Deputy Director for office of International relations.
Following the agreement, the two parties will strengthen joint cooperation in academic and research aspects through working on research activities, cooperating in the establishment of new joint programs at undergraduate level, graduate programs and joint supervision of their students. They will also cooperate in the exchange of scientific and academic materials, promoting academic exchange through the exchange of faculty members, scientific visits and holding joint workshops, as well as cooperating in the field of consulting, training, teaching and learning, curriculum development, modern teaching methods and the development of scientific research methods and mechanisms. http://www.sharjah.ac.ae/en/Media/Pages/news-details.aspx?mcid=561&clt=en
