My philosophy of teaching is mainly to study student’s goals and expectations in learning English in order for me to help them achieve them. I try to make my teaching structured to meet those objectives. I believe that the English teacher’s role is to deeply analyse learner’s needs and help them improve their communicative and linguistic competence to interact fully in a world of ever changing knowledge. I build my lessons to be dynamic, properly paced, and with an appropriate sense of humour. I am a believer of the “Communicative Language Teaching” which results in energetic classroom. This is not to say that I disregard the necessary work of teaching grammatical concepts and vocabulary-building. I try to incorporate these into the lessons in a way that successfully contributes to the interactive tasks that encompass the communicative techniques.
