Dear students,

On behalf of the Deanship of Student Affairs – Women, I am delighted to welcome you to the University of Sharjah, the prominent educational institution of a good reputation.
 
Persistent efforts of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah have led to success and stature for the University. Continued support and guidance by His Highness, accompanied by the academic programs and local, regional and international activities have contributed to the University achievements.
 
Female students enjoy further support by Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs. She grants support to students to achieve success and distinction.  
 
The University of Sharjah exerts continued efforts in providing the best services. The Deanship is interested in student personal development socially, psychologically and culturally. It holds cultural, social, sporting, art, scout and volunteering activities that suit the various needs and interests of the students. These activities strengthen the relationship between the students and the University, emphasize loyalty to the country and improve personal skills and ability to be creative, in line with the vision and mission, and contribute to student progress to be entrepreneurs in future business and careers.
 
I invite you to engage actively in the Deanship programs and activities to fill your free time, acquire new skills and contribute to the development of extracurricular cultural, social and sporting activities of the Deanship, which harmonize and are considered an integral part of the academic programs. Through various activities, students will not only acquire academic knowledge, but they will also benefit physically and mentally. We hope that all students take advantage from such activities. There is no doubt that engagement in student life, joining student clubs and Council and participating in suggestions will play a role in the development of the work and establishing actual cooperation between the Deanship and the students for the public interest.
