The Central Labs Directorate manages lab facilities across the University campus. These labs support faculty and students’ teaching, learning, and research activities. In total, we have 147 labs: 97 teaching, 37 research and 13 teaching/research labs.  Our labs are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and considered the largest such a unit at the national and regional levels. The Central Labs Directorate is responsible for managing lab space, daily lab services, the procurement and maintenance of lab equipment,  new installations, central utilities operations, lab safety, lab stores, and the supply of consumables and tools.
