The Safety section of the Central Laboratories Directorate organized a workshop for the Security officers of the University of Sharjah to raise awareness of the basics of safety and various emergencies/accidents that can occur in laboratories and how to deal with them, especially outside the official working hours of the university. During the workshop, the effective role of the university's Security Department in providing protection for lives and property was also discussed.
