The Central Laboratories Directorate in the Deanship of Academic Support Services launched an online cloud-based Chemical Inventory Management System for all teaching and research laboratories at the University of Sharjah.
Eng. Mahmoud Abu Shammeh, Director of Central Laboratories Directorate with the Safety Team have conducted two workshops, one in the main campus and the other in the medical campus. The presentations and the demonstrations on the system were given for the laboratory supervisors, faculty members and researchers.
This system will support to achieve the highest level of chemical safety in the laboratories and to optimize use of the resources available in the laboratories and it comply with local and international standards regulations requirement. Presently this system is being used by many international universities.
