The College of Law Organizes Distinguished Lecture on Enhancing Student and Faculty Well-being
As part of its ongoing commitment to developing the academic environment and promoting the well-being of both students and faculty members, the College of Law organized an educational lecture entitled “International Guidelines for Well-being in Legal Education” delivered by Professor Shadi Alshdaifat on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, via Microsoft Teams.
The lecture witnessed significant attendance from faculty members, who actively engaged with the workshop’s themes. The session addressed the latest international practices in supporting mental health and well-being within law schools, as well as the importance of creating a balanced educational environment that enhances both academic and professional performance.
This lecture comes as part of the College’s response to the International Guidelines for Well-being in Legal Education, which the College has adopted through its developmental vision. In this context, it is noteworthy that Professor Shadi Alshdaifat made a significant contribution to the development of these guidelines, alongside distinguished professors from several British and Australian universities, reflecting the international dimension of the expertise presented during the lecture.
This initiative is part of the College’s continuous efforts to enhance the quality of legal education and to strengthen the human dimension of the educational process, thereby positively impacting both students and faculty members.
At the conclusion of the lecture, participants expressed their appreciation for such high-quality initiatives that contribute to skills development and raise awareness of the importance of well-being in legal education. They also expressed their anticipation for more similar events in the future.
