إن اهتمامي بالتعليم نابع من خلال التدريب الأكاديمي، كمعلم ومتعلم في الجامعة. عندما كنت طالبا، لاحظت أن أفضل المعلمين هم الذين يهتمون أكثر بالتدريس والطلاب، هذا الاهتمام يقود إلى نتائج فعالة في أساليب التدريس لأنه يؤدي إلى إعداد منهجي وتطوير مستمر لمهارات التدريس. أحب أن أدرس لأن لدي شغف لتبادل المعرفة مع طلابي وأحب الارتياح الذي ينتج عن جعلهم يفهمون مفهوم صعب ولكنه مثير للاهتمام.
