SIFHAMS Director Professor Mesut Idriz represented the University of Sharjah at the 3rd International Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin Symposium on the History of Sciences in Islam which was held between 25-27 May 2023 in Istanbul, Turkey.
During the event, Professor Mesut held a series of discussions with local and international researchers and scholars specializing in the history of science in Islamic civilization.
In addition, he invited the scholars and symposium organizers to visit Sharjah, exhibit their academic work, and participate in SIFHAMS international forums, the SIFHAMS International Graduate Winter School, and the international conferences regularly organized by SIFHAMS. The fifth conference is expected to take place in 2025.
