SIFHAMS Director Professor Mesut Idriz represented the University of Sharjah at the 3rd International Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin Symposium on the History of Sciences in Islam which was held between 25-27 May 2023 in Istanbul, Turkey. During the event, Professor Mesut had series of discussion with the local and international researchers and scholars in the field of history of sciences in Islamic civilization. In addition, he invited these scholars as well as organizers of the symposium to visit Sharjah and exhibit their academic works and participate in SIFHAMS international forums, SIFHAMS International Graduate Winter School, international conferences which SIFHAMS is organizing regularly where the 5th conference is expected to take place in 2025.
