The Sharjah International Foundation for the History of Arab and Muslim Sciences at the university organized the fifth edition of the Scientists’ Talk lecture series under the title: “Islamic History and Civilization in the Global Context.”
The lecture was delivered by Jemil Aydin, Professor of History at North Carolina State University.
In his presentation, he explored the role of Islam and Muslim societies in shaping world history, while offering insightful examples of the profound influence of Islamic philosophy on the development of modern European thought.
