Prof. Mesut Idriz visited K. A. Nizami Centre for Quranic Studies, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. Faculties from the centre and various other departments attended the meeting and had fruitful academic discussions. Prof. Abdur Raheem Kidwai, Director of the centre, Dr Sabir Navas, Director, Academy of Excellence India, Prof.S. Kafeel Ahmad Qasmi, Prof. Mohd. Sanaullah and various other faculties received the guest. For representing Academy of Excellence,India, Farhan Anver, Research Fellow, JNU New Delhi and Muhammed Shiyad V.P,(Dept of History, Hindu College, Delhi University) participated in the meeting. The meeting discussed the possibilities of popularizing Quranic Studies among multi-cultural and multi-religious world.
