JOINT COOPERATION BETWEEN SIFHAMS AND SHEIKH ABDULLAH AL ANSARI COMPLEX FOR THE HOLY QURAN

The Sharjah International Foundation for the History of Arab and Muslim Sciences hosted Engineer Faisal Al-Ansari, the Executive Director of the Sheikh Abdullah Al-Ansari Complex for the Holy Quran from Qatar, for an official visit aimed at exploring ways of cooperation between the two institutions in the fields of the history of science and Arab and Islamic scientific heritage.

Engineer Al-Ansari was welcomed by Professor Mesut Idriz the Foundation's Director, where discussions took place regarding collaboration in scientific research and the exchange of academic expertise between Qatar and Sharjah.

Also present at the meeting were Dr. Bashir Marzouq, an astronomical expert at the Qatari Astronomy House, who shared his insights on astronomical sciences, and Professor Andreas from Cologne University in Germany, who discussed the role of universities in promoting research in the history of science.

Professor Awni Al-Khasawneh from the University of Sharjah also participated. The discussions focused on cooperation in organizing academic events and hosting scientific exhibitions that highlight the contributions of Arab and Muslim scholars in various scientific fields. They also explored the development of joint research projects aimed at documenting and globally disseminating the history of these sciences.

Engineer Al-Ansari expressed his pride in the visit, praising the Foundation's role in preserving Arab and Islamic scientific heritage, and emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between academic institutions in Qatar and Sharjah to highlight the history of Arab and Islamic sciences.
