Sharjah International Foundation for the History of Arab and Muslim Sciences

Professor Jan P. Hogendijk, a member of the institution's Scientific Advisory Council, accompanied by his team from Utrecht University in the Netherlands, Professor Mashhoor Al-Wardat, a member of the institution's Executive Board, and Professor Masoud Idris, the institution's director, paid an official visit to Sharjah Education Academy.

During the visit, the delegation met with Dr. Muhadditha Al Hashimi, Director of the Academy, Ms.Khawla Al Hosani, Director of Operations at the Academy, along with several department heads and officials from the Sharjah Private Education Authority.The visit included a guided tour of the academy's main sections and services, as well as a radio recording featuring Professor Hogendijk, where he discussed the uses of the astrolabe.

Both parties also explored future collaboration opportunities, focusing on Organizing training programs for teachers on the use of the astrolabe. Integrating the discoveries of Arab and Muslim scientists into educational workshops for future generations. The visit aims to advance education and revive scientific heritage in schools across the country.
