Intensive Abdominal Ultrasound Course
COURSE OBJECTIVES:
The course will introduce the fundamental principles of sonography, including terminology and equipment. It will provide an in-depth study of the clinical applications of Abdominal Sonography, covering positioning, scanning protocols, and pathology-specific clinical symptomatology as they relate to the sonographic appearance of various structures.
Participants will learn to interpret and critique both normal and abnormal anatomy, with emphasis on correlating clinical, didactic, and imaging information. The lectures will also highlight how to collect relevant patient information for different ultrasound studies and how to accurately correlate this information with the sonographic findings.

The course will enable you to apply your skills and knowledge to provide superior care to your patients. It will cover the following topics: Liver, Gallbladder, biliary tree, Spleen, Pancreas, Kidneys, male and female pelvis, and abdominal vasculature.
