University of Sharjah Organizes the Strategic Leadership Forum

The Office of Strategic Planning at the University of Sharjah (UoS) organized the Strategic Leadership Forum to present and discuss the key performance indicators of the strategic plan for the 2024–2025 academic year across all university departments, colleges, centers, and units, as well as to review key projects and initiatives planned for the 2025–2026 academic year. The forum was attended by His Excellency Professor Esameldin Agami, Chancellor of the University of Sharjah, along with vice chancellors, college deans, and directors of departments, centers, and institutes.

In his opening address, the Chancellor commended the university’s recent achievements across various academic and scientific fields, emphasizing that these successes are the result of integrated planning and collective effort. He highlighted that the strategic plan serves as a fundamental framework for supporting the university’s vision and realizing its goals and future aspirations. The Chancellor also presented key statistics demonstrating the university’s progress in implementing the plan and achieving its objectives.

His Excellency further stressed the importance of continuing to operate according to the standards set in the strategic plan, with particular focus on students as the center of the educational process. He emphasized the necessity of engaging faculty members in decision-making processes to contribute to the development of the educational system. He concluded by underscoring the significance of supporting Emiratization, promoting research, and expanding collaboration with local and international institutions to strengthen the university’s position both nationally and globally.

During the forum, the performance indicators of the strategic plan for all colleges, departments, centers, and institutes were presented and discussed, alongside the areas that need to be improved within the teaching and learning process. Other topics covered included Emiratization, community collaboration, and sustainable research that matters to the community.
