UoS College of Sharia and Islamic Studies Hosts Inspiring Lecture on Youth Leadership Skills

The Student Success Committee at the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies organized a motivational lecture titled “Leadership Skills Among Youth,” aimed at developing students’ leadership and personal skills. The session was led by Mr. Badr Hamdash, a specialist in leadership training and educational consultancy, and attended by faculty, staff, and students from various academic disciplines.

 

The lecture underscored the vital role of leadership skills in empowering young people, highlighting that leadership is not merely about authority but about the ability to create positive influence and drive meaningful change in one’s surroundings. Mr. Hamdash discussed the significance of emotional intelligence, effective communication, self-management, and teamwork in shaping a successful leader. To bring theory to life, he engaged participants through interactive exercises and practical examples that encouraged them to identify and nurture their innate leadership potential.

 

In closing, attendees expressed their appreciation for the trainer’s inspiring insights and hands-on approach, noting that the session strengthened their self-confidence and enhanced their readiness to play an active, constructive role in society. Certificates of participation were presented to the attendees in recognition of their enthusiasm and engagement.
