His Excellency Prof. Hamid M.K. Al Naimiy, Chancellor of the University of Sharjah (UoS), inspected the admission procedures for the university's 130 academic programs offered across 15 colleges. The Chancellor was accompanied by Prof. Youssef Al Haik, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Mr. Majid Al-Jarwan,  Vice Chancellor for Public Relations, and Dr. Aisha Mohamed Bukhatir Al Shamsi, Director of the Admission Department.

Despite the large number of students who came to complete their admission applications, the Chancellor did not observe any delays preventing students from submitting their documents easily. Students and their parents emphasized the ease of the application process, stating that they completed their registration in record time.The Chancellor spoke to a large number of students who were completing their admission applications, emphasizing that the University of Sharjah's doors are open for students to discuss any challenges they face during their academic journey, and provide guidance to help them achieve their academic goals.

Dr. Aisha Bukhatir pointed out that the Admission Department has received 7,000 applications so far, representing a significant increase from last year. The Admission Department is working on reviewing the applications and sending acceptance letters to the admitted students so they can complete their admission procedures. Dr. Aisha Bukhatir mentioned that the application period is still open for programs that have not yet closed until August 12. She urged admitted students to submit any missing documents to obtain their class schedules for the first academic year, which begins on August 26. She added that the placement tests for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics will start on August 19, while the English placement test will be held on August 8.
