The University of Sharjah (UoS) has taken part in the international conference “Sustainable Migrations: Women in Motion,” held in Kuala Lumpur and organized by the National University of Malaysia and its partners, with support from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The University's participation underscores its commitment to strengthening international academic cooperation in research, teaching, and community service, and to building sustainable academic partnerships.

The conference featured panel discussions, interactive sessions, lectures, and workshops addressing a wide range of pressing themes, including women’s empowerment and leadership, social inclusion, health care, employment, climate change, human rights, and the role of community institutions in supporting women. The event brought together a distinguished group of academics, researchers, students, and representatives of community organizations.
