The Chancellor of the University of Sharjah Honors Promoted Faculty Members

His Excellency Professor Esameldin Agami, Chancellor of the University of Sharjah (UoS), conveyed the congratulations of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah, to 22 faculty members who were promoted to higher academic ranks, as approved by the University’s Board of Trustees, chaired by His Highness.

During the ceremony, the Chancellor praised the research efforts of the faculty members and emphasized their vital role in addressing societal challenges and providing innovative solutions. He also commended their contributions to the advancement of the educational system through the adoption of modern teaching methodologies,and encouraged them to continue excelling in research and involving students in research projects.

Professor Yousef Haik, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, and Professor Maamar Bettayeb, Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate Studies, also expressed their appreciation for the faculty members' research contributions. They commended their efforts in advancing scientific research, encouraged them to maintain excellence in their academic fields, and wished them continued success in their professional careers.

Promotion to the rank of full professor was awarded to Dr. Shaker Jamal, Dr. Muhammad Mustafa, Dr. Nourhayati Zakaria, and Dr. Atif Awad from the College of Business Administration; Dr. Salah Haridy from the College of Engineering; Dr. Sameh Soliman and Dr. Mohamed Haidar from the College of Pharmacy; and Dr. Wael Rashdan from the College of Fine Arts and Design.

Promotions to the rank of associate professor were conferred upon Dr. Ammad Ahmed and Dr. Ray Saadaoui from the College of Business Administration; Dr. Reda Ibrahim from the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies; Dr. Aziz Takhiruf and Dr. Hafsa Khorshid from the College of Sciences; Dr. Ibrahim Yaseen, Dr. Amna Khalid, and Dr. Noha Ahmed from the College of Medicine; Dr. Mohammed Owais, Dr. Aouataf Zerara, and Dr. Nouf Al Jasmi from the College of Law; Dr. Ihsanullah Obeidullah from the College of Engineering; Dr. Ahmad Abuhelwa from the College of Pharmacy; and Dr. Amel Al Ali from the College of Computing and Informatics.
