Sharjah University and Sungrow Middle East Partner to Support Research in Renewable Energy Technologies
The University of Sharjah (UoS) has signed a memorandum of understanding with Sungrow Middle East, a trailblazer in renewable energy solutions, to collaborate on research, development and training in renewable energy technologies and storage.
Dr. Salah Taher Al Haj, the University's Vice Chancellor for Community Affairs, signed for UoS, while Mr. Li Wu, Chief Operating Officer, signed on behalf of the Sungrow. The partnership establishes cooperation between the two parties in promising frontiers like photovoltaic power, energy storage and microgrids, fusing academic expertise with industrial muscle.
Knowledge exchange, academic interplay and professional events will propel research, learning and capacity building, while nurturing talent and deepening ties between the two parties. This cooperation perfectly aligns with the University of Sharjah’s wider push to broaden industry and academic cooperation, fueling innovation and a cutting-edge research ecosystem that channels advanced renewable energy know-how into real-world impact.
