Ras Al Khaimah Police and University of Sharjah Sign a Memorandum of Understanding to Advance Innovation and Forensic Science
The partnership aims to provide students with scientific and practical training in police forensic laboratories while launching joint academic programs, conducting and publishing research in policing and forensic sciences, and exchanging expertise and best practices in laboratory and forensic medicine units. The initiative seeks to elevate performance indicators and strengthen institutional excellence across both entities.
Brigadier Bin Saif emphasized the importance of fostering cooperation and coordination with academic and professional institutions that share common interests, noting that such collaborations align with the directives of the federal government and the Ministry of Interior to strengthen partnerships among state institutions. He underlined that joint initiatives of this kind help advance integrated efforts and support innovation to achieve world-class performance benchmarks.
Dr. Salah Taher Al Haj highlighted the significance of this collaboration, stressing that it will help equip a new generation of graduates with the scientific knowledge, technical expertise, and professional skills needed to contribute to a knowledge-based society. He added that the partnership will also empower students to play an active role in shaping the UAE’s future in line with the Vision 2030 roadmap and contribute to enhancing community safety and overall quality of life.
