Dr. Salah Taher Al Haj, Vice Chancellor for Community Affairs at the University of Sharjah (UoS), received a delegation from King Khalid University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, headed by Dr. Musfar Al-Wadiai, Chief Executive Officer of the Applied College. The visit aimed to explore potential opportunities for collaboration between the two universities in several fields.

Dr. Salah Taher Al Haj welcomed Dr. Musfar Al-Wadiai and the accompanying delegation. He emphasized that the University of Sharjah's welcomes all forms of collaboration with scientific institutions to serve and develop the community through joint projects that address community needs and provide proposals for these initiatives.

During the meeting, attendees from both sides discussed the potential for future collaboration in areas such as joint scientific research through cooperation between faculty members from both universities, as well as the exchange of faculty members and students, studying the job market, and organizing several visits between the two universities in the future to pave the way for signing a cooperation agreement that outlines the framework for collaboration between the parties.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Fakhir Al-Gharaibeh, Director of the Research Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences at UoS, Dr. Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ali, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Agency for Entrepreneurship and Foresight, and Malik Moh'd Mihdawi, Director of the Community Cooperation Office at UoS.
