H.E. Prof. Esameldin Agamy, Chancellor of the University of Sharjah, received a delegation from Sharjah’s General Department of Comprehensive Police Stations, led by H.E. Major General Ibrahim Musabah Al Ajel, Director General of the Department.

The meeting addressed several matters related to security and traffic services on campus. Discussions included smart solutions to help reduce traffic congestion, coordination on the organization of university entrances and exits, and an overview of the electronic services provided by the University City Comprehensive Police Station to members of the university community.

The two sides also reviewed the University’s smart-gates project, which is scheduled to become operational in the coming period. They affirmed their shared commitment to strengthening institutional cooperation in support of the campus security and safety system.

Attending on behalf of the University were Mr. Majid Al Jarwan, Vice Chancellor for Public Relations; Dr. Abdulrahman Al Hashimi, Director of the Services Department; and Mr. Ibrahim Mohammed Al Shamsi, Head of the Security and Safety Section.

Representing the General Department of Comprehensive Police Stations were Brigadier Hamad bin Qasmoul, Director of the Suburbs Police Department; Lt. Col. Rashid bin Muwaiza, Head of the University City Security Center; and Lt. Col. Humaid Abdullah Al Sari, Head of the Director General’s Office Section.
