The College of Pharmacy consist of three departments Pharmacy Practice  and Pharmacotherapeutics , Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology and Medicinal chemistry.  and Pharmaceutics. The Department of Pharmacy Practice  and Pharmacotherapeutics provides education and conducts research to promote the health and well being of the community by improving the practice of pharmacy and generating and spreading knowledge related to pharmacy practice and drug use. The Department of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology focus on teaching and research in the areas of pharmacokinetics, biopharmaceutics, drug delivery and novel technologies used in manufacturing pharmaceutical  products. The Department of Medicinal chemistry teaches  the principles of chemistry and biochemistry and conduct basic research in those areas in relation to drug discovery.
